Underberg and music go hand in hand. For more than 40 years, our world-famous jingle “Komm doch mit auf den Underberg” has been interpreted by numerous bands and popular performers.
The members of the Swedish metal band, Amon Amarth, have, for many years, been friends of Underberg and musical brand ambassadors. They’ve been an integral part of the metal scene since 1992 and received the Metal Hammer Award for Best Album in 2011 for Surtur Rising. During their concerts, they’ve been known to slip in a metal version of the Underberg jingle.
Underberg is also friends with Indie-rock band Jupiter Jones, known to a larger audience ever since receiving the 2012 Echo Award for their song “Still” (incidentally, they celebrated the award by downing Underberg right on the red carpet!). Their poetic and sophisticated German lyrics and melodious rock has made this Eifel-based band an enormous success for the past 12 years.
No instruments and no respect for stuffy conventions: this perfectly characterises the five members of the refreshingly different folk music group voXXclub. Their folk inspired a-capella vocals were an instant splash hit. But these guys are not only excellent musicians, they are also spontaneous and fun-loving. The voXXclub flash mob with Underberg went viral right after publication!
