In the historic rooms below the headquarters „Stammhaus“ in Rheinberg / Germany, the herb matures in barrels of Slovenian oak before being bottled in the iconic single-serve bottle with the legendary beige paper.

After intensive efforts, Underberg has succeeded in officially obtaining the geographical designation of origin “Rheinberger Kräuter” due to the incomparability of Underberg.
Underberg thus enjoys statutory EU protection of origin. Defined and confirmed by Brussels legislation in September 2008.
